Dumb Questions about Abortion
This is an informal collection of questions that have been asked about abortion that are dumb. In many scenarios, such questions are presented with the intention of adding confusion to the topic of abortion, so hopefully this list will be helpful.
Some post-pregnancy medical procedures that are necessary to prevent sepsis and other health problem are classified by some people as "post-abortion abortion procedures," but it's highly likely that this is never what anti-abortion/forced-birther people mean when asking this question.
Do you support abortion after birth?
Abortion is no longer possible within at least the first month or two after a pregnancy has been terminated (by way of its natural course to completion, or by any form of early termination).
Debating strategy
The absurdity of this question can easily be exposed by asking this follow-up question: "How long after the pregnancy? I ask because human babies aren't born pregnant" (and the correct answer to this follow-up question is "at any age when a person becomes pregnant").
