Abortion glossary :: Pro-abortion
The "pro-abortion" position is biased specifically in favour of encouraging pregnant people to get abortions. It is not the same as the "pro-choice" position, which is impartial and advocates that pregnant people must have the free choice to decide for themselves (with the usual options primarily including "childbirth" or "abortion").
Debating strategy
When an interlocutor mischaracterizes a pro-choice person of harbouring a "pro-abortion" attitude, at least subtly objecting by beginning the next response (or immediately interrupting) with "I'm pro-choice, which is different from pro-abortion" is an important clarification because it protects one's own personal integrity by way of dismissing the incorrect presumption of bias.
