Abortion glossary :: Pro-choice
The "pro-choice" position is that every pregnant person must have the human-right-and-freedom to choose to get an abortion at any point during their pregnancy.
For people who are selectively pro-choice throughout a partial duration of the pregnancy, or based on other criteria, the "quasi-choice" characterization is more suitable.
Debating strategy
If one is to take human-rights-and-freedoms seriously, it is imperative that pregnant people have the same right to their own bodily autonomy as people who are not pregnant since "equality" is one of the fundamental milieus of internationally-recognized human rights.
