Abortion glossary :: Pro-life
The term "pro-life" is a misleading synonym for the anti-abortion position that fabricates a false impression that preventing abortions somehow saves lives.
The anti-abortion (a.k.a., pro-life) position entails the following:
- denying certain human rights and freedoms from pregnant people, such as that of bodily autonomy (which is a fundamental aspect of every person's physical, social, and mental integrity)
- discriminating against and/or controlling people just because they are pregnant
- enslaving pregnant people as human incubators when they don't want to be pregnant
